Laura started her travel career in Hawaii where she worked for American Express Destination Services for 12 years.  From airport greeter to manager, she provided exceptional customer service, attention to detail and unique and exciting vacations for groups from two to 1000.  She also managed a stand-alone, American Express office in Los Angeles where she helped international travelers explore the California Coast, Nevada and Utah.

In 1992, Laura shifted focus and founded the National Teen Leadership Program which provides motivational leadership training to teenagers. She retired as its Executive Director after 24 years with many accolades, including a California Medal of Merit awarded by the California National Guard for exceptional service to the community.

Laura has returned to her love of travel and is based in California. She is affiliated with Travel Concepts, Inc., a full-service travel consulting and management company, located in the Kansas City Metro area, servicing clients globally for over 25 years.

Laura is a Certified Specialist for Mexico focusing on Cabo San Lucas, California Baja Sur, Puerto Vallarta, and Cancun. Cabo is her particular favorite having visited annually for the last 15 years. Other certifications include Viking Cruises, Disney College of Knowledge, and Hawaii.
